Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a great clockwork making tinkerer who had a beautiful daughter. To delight her, he built her a gigantic clockwork castle for her to a princess of, full of animals and exotic plants all built to run in a mechanized kingdom.

When his daughter grew very ill from a mysterious sickness, the tinkerer sealed the castle to ward off whatever might be plaguing her. Inside, she was safe from all disease or danger. While visitors could come and go from the castle, his lovely daughter was forever trapped inside.

A long time passed, and the tinkerer grew old and faded. The castle still stands however, with a very lonely occupant.
